Customer Reviews
Fast shipping, decent drum
Got the Mahogany CajonTab. Shipped quickly. Sound is good. No issues with the order or product. Happy with it.
Mostly good, minor issue
I decided on the Zebrawood CajonTab and a Carry Bag during a holiday sale. The discount was pretty good, making the purchase feel like a solid deal. Delivery was standard, got it within a week. The CajonTab itself is lightweight and the zebrawood finish looks great. The sound is clear and it's definitely easy to transport. My only minor complaint is that the carry bag felt a little snug, like it was a tight fit to get the drum in and out. Not a huge deal, but could be a bit roomier. Overall, happy with the purchase and the customer service I got when I asked a question about care.
Good value for a new instrument
I bought the 10 inch CajonTab because I wanted something portable but didn't want to spend too much. I signed up for their newsletter and got a discount on my first order, which helped a lot. The price felt fair after the discount. It felt like a good buy for what I got.
Solid purchase, good support
I ordered a Pro Series CajonTab with the External Snare Accessory. The website was easy to navigate and placing the order was straightforward. It took about 5 days to reach Denver, which was reasonable. When it arrived, the snare accessory was missing. I contacted customer service and they were responsive; they sent the missing part out the next day. The CajonTab itself is well-made and the sound is pretty clear for a portable drum. The wood finish was smooth and looked nice. It's comfortable to wear with the shoulder strap I bought separately. I'm still getting used to the sound controls, but it performs as expected.

Is Louson Drums legit? I've seen some small instrument companies that are a bit dodgy, but these look cool.
Any military discounts available? My brother is looking to get one.
Hey, thinking about grabbing a CajonTab, but I'm in NYC. How long does shipping usually take to the East Coast?
Does the CajonTab come with a strap, or do I gotta buy that separately?
Are these things really that much better than like, a Meinl headliner cajon? The price difference is pretty big.
